Lead Planner Stephanie Economides planned a beautiful luxury at home wedding in Great Falls, Virginia, featuring a stunning organic floral statement ceremony piece in their front yard.

In a time of uncertainty with Covid-19, all Kelly and Dan wanted was to celebrate their marriage with their close friends and family in the backyard of Kelly’s childhood home. It was a beautiful September day with a wonderful team of vendors to help execute this luxury at-home wedding.
Kelly and her bridesmaids got ready at the house she grew up in. She wore a stunning open back lace floral gown accessorized with timeless pearl earrings.
Guests were greeted with hand sanitizer and face masks to stay safe during the event. The couple was married right at their front door! We designed an epic floral piece at the front steps of the home. With organic green and white florals surrounding the door, on the steps, and above the mantle it was a lush backdrop for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests then made their way to the backyard for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. We got creative with the food displays with the pandemic in mind. Rather than passing small bites, we set up stations with barriers between the chefs and guests. One of the hits of the hour were personal mini charcuterie boards. A great spin on the popular wedding appetizer. Afterwards guests moved to the reception. The reception took place in a beautiful clear top tent with a combination of linen and wood farm tables for guest seating. The band played throughout the evening under a custom pergola fit with string lights and greenery. It was a beautiful celebration for Kelly and Dan’s at home wedding!
