To kick off the autumn season and changing leaves we are sharing the perfect recipe for our favorite cedar plank old fashioned, featured on Martha Stewart Weddings.
For an Old Fashioned with a smoky twist, torch a cedar plank and stir in your favorite bourbon, sugar, and bitters. Our dark and boozy version of an Old Fashioned is enhanced with the fall flavors of Peychaud bitters and cedar wood smoke. Perfect for relaxing by the fireplace on a chilly Autumn night.
Magnus Bourbon, Peychaud Bitters, Aromatic Bitters, Sugar Cube
Smoke cedar wood chips on a wooden board, then put a glass over it to smoke the glass. Place sugar cube in the Old Fashioned glass and douse with bitters. Add bourbon and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add large ice cub and stir with a bar spoon to chill.
