Thy Parra

Thy ParraA graduate of L’Academie de Cuisine, Thy Parra began her career as a chef in several renowned D.C. restaurants, including Aquarelle at the Watergate and Bistro Bis.

With her strong education in French cuisine, she has spent the last 15 years organizing events at an upscale catering company and, most recently, as Director of Social Catering at the Mandarin Oriental.

Proficiently planning and executing from the simplest to most extravagant events, Thy prides herself on creating flawless, detailed and unique experiences for her clients. She is also fluent in Vietnamese and proficient in Spanish.

On a personal front, Thy is married and the mother of two gorgeous little boys. She enjoys good food and wine and is an avid scuba diver.
