Nick and Jessica wanted an afternoon wedding that was relaxed, festive, organic and bright! Woodend Sanctuary provided the backdrop for their nuptials and reception. They wanted to work with natural fibers and colors for their linens and organically arranged flowers to pop in shades of pinks, red, oranges, yellows and purples! The bride loved sunflowers in particular and Sidra Forman designed her bouquet to express her bright disposition as well as stunning mantle pieces designed with seeded eucalyptus and a variety of sunflowers.
Design Cuisine used mason jars for beverages and a variety of communal style, picnic and round tables to further extend the casual element of the day. The rain broke just in time to lay out picnic blankets and the variety of yard games enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. Another unique element for this wedding was their selection of music, both the bride and groom enjoyed bluegrass and brought in one of their local bar favorites, Chester River Runoff. Honestly, one of the most fun renditions of Hava Nagila yet!
We hope you enjoy some of the wonderful shots from Michael Temchine!
